Meet Michael Jay, a master stylist based in Nashville, Tennessee, with over 15 years of experience in the hair industry. Originally from Biloxi, MS, Michael Jay has called Nashville his home for the past 16 years, where he has honed his skills and established himself as one of the top hairstylists in the area.
Michael Jay’s specialties lie in working with curly hair, long men's hair, and styling, with a focus on precision and attention to detail. He has an exceptional ability to create unique styles that fit the individual needs of each of his clients. One product he can't live without is Dallas, which helps him achieve the perfect added lift and finish for his clients.
His dream hair situation is to work backstage at fashion shows and shoots, where he can showcase his skills and creativity. Michael Jay is always looking for opportunities to learn and grow, which is why his favorite part of the job is working with his clients and team members to build lasting relationships.
Michael Jay has had the privilege of attending numerous hair education events and experiences, including the Oscar De La Renta Fashion Show, working with Takashi Kitamura, and participating in Nashville Fashion Week events. These events have helped him showcase his skills and work alongside some well respected stylists in the industry.
