Meet Carly Rae, she is THE professional hairstylist with an impressive career in the industry. Originally from Palm City, Florida, she has made Nashville home since 2011.
With over a decade of experience, Carly has mastered the art of natural hair colors, specializing in reds, brunettes, and blondes. She is also renowned for her expertise in gray coverage and creating striking bright blondes. As a cutting specialist, she excels in crafting versatile and tailored haircuts as well for her clients.

When envisioning her dream hair situation, Carly embraces variety and versatility. She enjoys creating hairstyles that appear effortlessly natural yet enhanced, personalized to accentuate each client's unique features.
One of Carly's favorite aspects of her job is connecting with her clients. Through these connections, she continuously learns about the world and gains valuable insights. She also cherishes the evolving nature of her career, as it allows her to constantly learn and master new techniques throughout her journey.
Carly's commitment to education is evident in her top three favorite hair education events and experiences. She served as an educator with TIGI, traveling the world, learning from industry luminaries such as Anthony Mascolo, Nick Irwin, Richy Kandesamy, Akos Bodi, and Thomas Osborn. Another pivotal moment was her participation in an online TV show created by Mary Rector founder of Behind the Chair, where she embarked on a transformative journey to London to learn from leading hairdressers and teach at prestigious hair shows in the US and Berlin. This experience catapulted her career and enriched her expertise, enabling her to contribute to Local Honey's apprenticeship program.
